With its spectacular view over the fields and vineyards that outline the Tortona hills, the Tortona viewpoint is one of the "most beautiful villages in Italy" as a guest village... #tuttitaly
Thanks to its panoramic position over the surrounding vineyards, fields, and villages, since 2021, Vho has been one of the most beautiful villages in Italy.
Of the ancient Vho, today we can visit the Church of San Salvatore, located in the center of the town. The single large nave of the religious building is decorated with valuable frescoes.
Note the leaded glass windows, the ancient baptismal font, and the statues of the Virgin Mary.
Carnival
Carnival is an ancient tradition of the town and is organized by the Mutual Aid Society. The festivities begin on Friday evening with the grand masquerade ball and conclude on Shrove Tuesday with the traditional banquet of polenta, salami, and wine.
Festival
The S.O.M.S also organizes the Agnolotto Vhoese Festival, the typical first course of the holidays throughout Piedmont. A pasta filled with beef stew can also be enjoyed in broth or Barbera wine.
