Trani boasts one of the most beautiful cathedrals in all of Puglia and such friendly people ... find out why ... #tuttitaly
The Swabian Castle (commissioned by Frederick II of Swabia) and the majestic Cathedral of San Nicola Pellegrino make Trani one of the most beautiful towns in Italy.
The cathedral is a real treasure suspended over the sea, and the center is a suggestive ball of narrow streets paved in stone between craft shops, galleries, fish restaurants, and fascinating views.
You will undoubtedly be fascinated by the beautiful and romantic port, populated by many lovely people in the evening. I found Trani to be a hospitable place.
I remember a nice anecdote, of which I laugh now, but the fright was great; while we were in a beautiful little restaurant on the harbor, the owner of the structure where we slept (one night only) called me on my cell phone, kindly informing me that I had parked the car in front of his neighbor's shop. Therefore the brigade was ready to get me a ticket and remove the car with the wrecker.
He asked me, always kindly, to be able to reach him quickly to avoid ruining my vacation. Imagine now as I run through the alleys of Trani with the baked ziti between my teeth trying to reach the car in the shortest possible time without having a clear idea of where I was going; while on the phone, I tried to beg them to wait. Luckily, I avoided the forced removal while the fine was necessary. I immediately went to look for a nearby paid parking lot. 😊😊
