Sa Mesa Longa beach - San Vero Milis (OR) - Sardinia

I hope Sardinia won't tire you out because I still have a couple of destinations to show you. Today we move to the hamlet of Putzu Idu, in the municipality of San Vero Milis.

We are on the beach of Sa Mesa Longa, which means 'the long table,' one of the pearls of the marine area of the Sinis peninsula, which is twenty kilometers away.

"The long table" refers precisely to a natural sandstone barrier a few tens of meters from the shore, which the mistral waves break on the beach, creating an authentic natural pool.

The beach looks like a beautiful expanse of fine, warm, and compact white sand embellished by sparse vegetation that reaches very close to the sea.

Right in front, the small islet covered with vegetation stops, surrounded by a beautiful crystalline sea, which, based on the light, gives all the shades of blue, with iridescent colors between green and blue. Very clean, Posidonia oceanica plants are absent, the seabed is low and sandy, while you can find unspoiled nature behind the beach.
