A few kilometers south of Putzu Idu, also in the municipality of San Vero Milis, we find the splendid Spiaggia di S’Arena Scoada - on the coast of Western Sardinia.
A place with a significant concentration of coastal beauties that alternates coves with stretches of limestone and a long beach with an oceanic-tropical appearance.
S'Arena Scoada was originally called s’aena scoada, which meant "the donkey without a tail."
Then the name was transformed into 'sand without a tail,' white sand, with fragments of quartz and smooth rocks that overlook the green-blue sea, where the sandy bottom gently lowers, making it a special place even for the little ones, and not only—a natural dream landscape.
A peculiarity of this beach is the limestone rocks mixed with clay used for sandblasting.
