Porto Tramatzu beach is one of the jewels of Teulada in the southwest of Sardinia. The fine white sand and the crystalline sea with green and turquoise shades make this beach one of the most beautiful on the island.
The sandy bottom is shallow for tens of meters and reaches the nearby Red Island:
an islet covered by the Mediterranean scrub reachable through excursions organized by the establishments.
The territory of Teulada is a succession of coves of fine white sand, but only some of them are accessible - in summer. One of these is Cala Zafferano which can only be reached by sea during July and August.
The bathing establishments on the beach of Porto Tramatzu are equipped for excursions.
Behind the beach, there is also a camping and a camper area.
