Hidden among the Zingaro Nature Reserve cliffs, about 3.8 km from the North and South entrances, lies the tranquil and charming Cala Berretta. This little gem is equidistant from Castellammare del Golfo and San Vito Lo Capo, making it easily accessible.
Cala Berretta beach, with its slender strip of gravel, encircled by rocks and translucent waters, is a haven of serenity. Shielded from the winds and often sparsely populated, it provides visitors with an ambiance of absolute calm and tranquility. After a leisurely stroll through the unspoiled nature of the reserve, Cala Berretta emerges as a small sanctuary of beauty to explore and savor.
Before venturing along the path leading to the cove, it is essential to equip oneself with rock shoes to move agilely among the rocks and with ample water to stay hydrated throughout the day. Along the coast, just 400 meters to the south, is also the evocative Cala della Disa, another must-see location for a refreshing swim in a natural and wild environment.
