Oltremare Park of Riccione - (RN) - Emilia Romagna

Oltremare is a suggestive tribute to the Planet and our sea, an experience rich in educational content.

The trip has three stages: Journey through Time, Planet Sea, and The Farm.

Time travel:

The first curiosity to satisfy is the Sundial, a tool used in the past to calculate time. Without the help of the classic clock, you can find the exact time by adjusting yourself with the shadow cast by the large needle, called a gnomon, on its main dial.

Planet Time is a journey through a corridor that leads to 4 rooms. In these, four crucial periods are reproduced for the evolution of the planet:

- The explosion of matter and the recomposition into galaxies

- The extinction of the dinosaurs and the emergence of mammals

- The melting of the ice

- Climate changes

Entering Planet Time and Overseas, you will experience the first 14 billion years of planet Earth with a multisensory journey.

If you want to walk the main stages of evolution, there is the Darwin attraction.

You will enter a glass and steel dome representing Cretaceous Earth and walk through reconstructions and rainforest environments. You will meet alligators, giant beetles, bearded dragons, Australian diamonds, orchids, and prehistoric forests.

Planet Sea:

In the Great Lagoon, sympathetic mammals live together and exhibit that, like humans, they breathe with their lungs, give birth, and breastfeed their children. The dolphins present are bottlenose dolphins equipped with teeth that are useful more for grasping than chewing. Before their performance, the natural evolution, myths, and legends about dolphins are explained to the public.

After the show, you can photograph yourself with the dolphins and spend time with the trainers.

The farm:

You will learn about the development of rural life in the countryside. You'll find a fun exhibit featuring: farmyard animals and domestic and wild animals such as dogs, cats, sheep, chickens, goats, and ducks. Over 90 animals from 19 different species are housed here.

An experience not to be missed!
