Jesolo is a seaside tourist resort in the province of Venice, much appreciated for the services offered and the nature that surrounds it. The territory, divided into Jesolo Lido and Jesolo Paese, is partly crossed by the Piave and Sile rivers.
Sea, sun, 16 km of golden beach, relaxation, and fun are the characteristics of Jesolo Lido, an ideal destination for boating enthusiasts. Its port provides a sightseeing tour in the Upper Adriatic.
The Lido has tourist services: umbrellas and cabins, bars, nightclubs, a water park, accommodation facilities, restaurants, shops, wellness centers, sailing schools, diving schools, and cycle paths. Three areas are also used as accessible beaches for free: the first is near Piazza Nember, the second is in the Pineta area towards Cortellazzo, and the last extends between Piazza Manzoni and Piazza Milano.
The squares, 24 in all, serve as a point of reference for orientation in Lido di Jesolo.
The indications to tourists are given not with the street's name but by signaling the proximity to one square rather than another. They are strategic points where hotels, apartments, shops, bars, and beach access are concentrated. The most central is Piazza Mazzini, identifiable thanks to the Torre Aquileia, a luxurious 21-story residential complex designed by the architect Carlos Ferrater.
