Going to Is Arenas Biancas is like taking a dip in paradise. A dream panorama will open before your eyes, where the contrast between the white sand and the sea colors will leave you breathless.

The beach is located in the south of Sardinia. It is a long, wide beach of very white and very thin sand that gives the water an intense blue color with iridescent reflections. Behind the beach rise, for about 30 m, white dunes.

The areas farthest from the sea are covered with Mediterranean scrub and juniper. Behind them lies the pond of Is Brebeis, the summer home of numerous migratory birds, including pink flamingos, kingfishers, and egrets.

Part of the coast is accessible only in summer because it falls within the Capo Teulada military range. The dunes are protected, and it is forbidden to cross them.

The beach is also suitable for children because the seabed slopes gently and presents no dangers.
