Imperia is a Ligurian city with a particular charm due to enchanting views and panoramas of the sea. Built around the Impero River, the city includes Oneglia and Porto Maurizio agglomerations.

In the Oneglia area, we can visit the Olive Museum, where the great protagonist is the Taggiasca olive, whose name derives from the town of Taggia, in the province of Imperia. The first olive tree of a particular quality was planted in Taggia, brought to Liguria by the Crusaders during the wars in the Holy Land.
