Follonica (GR) - Tuscany

Follonica is a small town located in the heart of the gulf of the same name between the promontory of Piombino and Punta Ala, facing the island of Elba in the upper Tuscan Maremma.

Its coast is mainly made of fine white sand, stretches of rock, and shallow waters that gently slope down.

Thanks to the clarity of its sea, since 2000, it has obtained the European Blue Flag, which certifies the high quality of the waters and the coast, and since 2004 the 4 Sails of Legambiente, which classify it among the first Italian tourist resorts.
