Pearl of San Teodoro; transparent sea, light sand, rocks with curious shapes and pastel shades, postcard landscape on the horizon... #tuttitaly
If you are in San Teodoro, I recommend visiting Cala Girgolu and Cala Squadrone, Turtle Beach, and the Beach of the Cows. To reach them, you need to equip yourself with a mask, snorkel, and rock shoes.
To get to the beaches, you must walk along the coast to the right, on a path of granite rocks, and immersed in the Mediterranean scrub.
Cala Girgolu is home to the famous rocks of "Gallo di Gallura" and "Tartaruga." The creators of these natural sculptures are water and wind.
You will be surrounded by many spectacularly shaped granite rocks, overlooking blue and crystalline waters. The beach is tiny, and the sand is light and delicate—a genuinely unspoiled paradise.
Following the path along the Gallura coast, not far from the Spiaggia della Tartaruga, you will find the Spiaggia delle Vacche.
Here, the crystalline water changes shades according to the sun exposure, while the shallow water is also ideal for children. On the right of this beach, you can admire the splendid Tavolara Island and Molara Island, while on the left, Porto San Paolo's capes.
