A precious gem in the vast treasure of Chia, the most minor and most delightful of the beaches of a paradisiacal stretch of the extreme south-western coast of Sardinia... #tuttitaly
Cala Cipolla is one of the most suggestive beaches of Chia, in the territory of Domus de Maria. It is located just east of the Capo Spartivento cape and can be reached via a path from which you can enjoy the view over the entire southwest coast.
The splendid cove of thin golden sand is enclosed
between two pink granite promontories, stretching towards the sea, forming a natural swimming pool. With its wild aspect, the cove is bordered by sandy dunes with Mediterranean vegetation and a pine and juniper forest.
Cala Cipolla is characterized by a limpid sea, with
iridescent shades ranging from deep blue to green.
The sandy and shallow seabed for tens of meters from the shore makes this place ideal for children.
