Venice is considered by many to be the most beautiful city in the world ... find out why...#tuttitaly
I was lucky enough to visit Venice several times, with the sun, the high water, and the "snow." Each time, it enchanted me in a particular way, leaving me with unforgettable memories.
The beauty of this city is truly priceless; touring and discovering it will surely tell you a piece of its incredible history because Venice speaks for itself; observe it and find it but with the utmost respect.
This beautiful city extends over 118 islands separated by 150 channels. As soon as you enter the town center, you will see only roads made of water, no cars, only boats and gondolas that will take you to this unique place.
There are about 400 gondolas that navigate the canals of Venice with a regular license (think that only 3-4 licenses are issued per year, and the exams are very rigorous), and taking a gondola ride, is the most romantic experience ever can happen.
Venice is a jewel that only we have in the world, and for this reason, it must be preserved and safeguarded because it is a city that is in danger of disappearing. The town was built on a large lagoon, planting millions and millions of wooden poles in the water. All the buildings in Venice are built on solid oak or oak poles, which last forever underwater. This type of construction allowed the city to adapt perfectly to the movements of the ground to be flexible and elastic.
In addition, the poles have been buried, so it is tough for them to come into contact with oxygen, which feeds the bacteria, making the decomposition process possible. For this reason, they do not rot.
More than any other place in the world, this is truly a place to visit at least once in a lifetime.
