Vessel Neptune - Genoa - Liguria

If you want to step into the shoes of a real Pirate, then the beautiful Vessel Neptune is for you. It will be able to make you feel like Captain Hook sailing the Ligurian Sea 😊


This faithful reproduction of a 1600 Galleon is located in Liguria and moored in the old port of the wonderful Genoa.

It is awe-inspiring, and you will be fascinated by its grandeur.


The ship is equipped with an engine and a steel hull capable of navigating at 3 knots. It was built in Tunisia in 1986, and its interior is full of particular elements that catapult you with your imagination into the shoes of a real pirate.


Sixty-three meters long, impossible not to notice for those arriving at the Old Port of Genoa.

The Galleon is permanently moored there, showing its majesty.


Externally full of wood carvings, it is possible to get on board and browse through cannons, cabins and hatches in a fascinating path that catapults you into another era and dimension. You can stay on the ship as long as you like.


Nearby you will also easily find the Museum of the Sea, the Aquarium of Genoa, and the Biosphere.

The Vessel was born as a film set; the ship was designed and built specifically for the film Pirates by Roman Polański. Then in 2011, she was used as the Jolly Roger of Captain Hook in the television miniseries Neverland - The True Story of Peter Pan by Nick Willing.
