The Bay of San Felice is home to one of the most spectacular and evocative naturalistic beauties of the entire Gargano coast, the Architiello of San Felice with its ancient coastal tower... #tuttitaly

The Torre di San Felice is an ancient coastal tower located on the bay of the same name in the Municipality of Vieste.

Built in 1540, it is the eighth coastal tower belonging to the territory of the Capitanata and was raised to receive and transmit the signals of the nearby buildings.

From the Tower, it is possible to admire the characteristic Architiello di San Felice, one of the most evocative naturalistic beauties of the entire Garaganian coast, an actual natural arch inserted in a spectacular natural paradise surrounded by greenery.

It offers an enchanting landscape, an absolute joy for the eyes and the soul, which remains etched in the memories.

Carlo Gambacorta wrote: "This eighth tower, known as Santo Felice, is well located in a good factory overlooking two large coves on one side and the other. It needs some emery stones. It is also necessary for a staircase that takes two ducats."
