Passo San Pellegrino is 11 km from Moena, in the autonomous province of Trento, in Trentino-Alto Adige. The landscape all around is enchanting and features pasture expanses framed by spectacular peaks.

In summer, this area is the destination of many excursions of historical and naturalistic importance, theaters of the First World War where even today, it is possible to retrace ancient trenches, tunnels, and recently restored walkways.

In winter, the San Pellegrino Pass becomes a vital winter resort with numerous slopes of various lengths and difficulties, a destination for those who love sunlit slopes. Cascading emotions from this spectacular balcony at 2,500

meters, you can admire the queen of the Dolomites, the Marmolada.

The idea of building the first Hotel on the San Pellegrino Pass belonged to some Moenese who, in 1358, was allowed to make the first hospice, which in the following centuries became a safe hotel immersed in a mountain landscape of rare beauty. The name derives from the Pilgrim Friars

who managed the hospice for centuries.

At the beginning of the last century, the first tourists appeared. But it is only after the war events of the First World War, thanks to the recovery work done by the association "On the Front of Memories," that we can speak of a genuine rediscovery of the Pass. The San Pellegrino Pass is the ideal place to experience the mountain fully.
