A magical place to visit at least once in your life, a symbol of the artistic 'vein' of nature, which has inspired directors and writers and will inspire you too... #tuttitaly
We still stay in Sardinia because the beauties never end, and today, we move back to the Cuglieri coast, just south of Santa Caterina di Pittinurri, which we have shown you in previous posts.
We are near the village of S'Archittu, which takes its name from the famous arch carved into the limestone rock.
The beautiful cove can be reached directly from the tourist village with a walk through a paved path continuing north. When you get to the cove, you will find yourself in front of the spectacular arch entirely carved by the action of the wind.
The natural 'bridge,' initially a cave, is enchanting at sunset, when the orange sun seems to get stuck inside,
almost imprisoned in the arch: the shots will be unforgettable. The scenic effect is beautiful even at night, illuminated by artificial lights.
The most courageous and experienced ones usually dive about 15 meters high from their top.
The beautiful natural arch was the scene of the world diving from great heights in 2001. On the other hand, the
sheltered 'arch beach' is ideal for relaxation: a carpet of fine ocher sand with golden reflections scattered with fragments of shells, which plunges into a shallow and sandy bottom.
