Royal Palace of Turin (TO) - Piedmont - UNESCO World Heritage Site

With its elegant, finely Baroque façade and combination of different styles, the Royal Palace of Turin was a prestigious center of power for the Savoy family for three centuries. UNESCO Heritage since 1997 represents the power of the Savoy dynasty, allowing us to choose between different tour routes to learn about the history and the splendid treasures kept inside.

Inside this majestic palace, we can recognize the hand of all the famous artists who worked there between the seventeenth and nineteenth centuries, making it one of Turin's most important sites of artistic and cultural interest.

1640 began the golden age of the Royal Palace of Turin, opulent and luxurious both on the outside and in the internal decorations.

After the unification of Italy, the royal family moved to Florence, and the palace remained just one of their many residences.

However, with the end of the monarchy in 1946, the building was abandoned, and many rooms were sealed. Only in 2007 was it reopened to the public.

Over the centuries, countless great artists have made the palace halls luxurious, including Isidoro Bianchi, Claudio Francesco Beaumont, and Massimo d'Azeglio.
