Red Rocks of Arbatax, hamlet of Tortolì (NU) - Ogliastra - Sardinia

Arbatax, a tourist fraction of Tortolì, owes its fame to the Red Rocks that emerge from the splendid emerald waters.

The Rocce Rosse is a destination for the most experienced divers.

The area has all the necessary services: ample parking, refreshment points, hotels, bars, and various nightclubs.

The Rocce Rosse di Arbatax Bay is characterized by a background of white rocks and high red porphyry cliffs, giving it an inimitable appearance.

Behind the rocks lies the splendid Cala Moresca.

The beach, bordered by thick Mediterranean scrub, is made up of a clear seabed, granite rocks, and golden sand and takes its name from is morus, the Saracen pirates who ravaged the coast in the eighth century.

Curiosity: the final scene of the cult "Overwhelmed by an unusual destiny" by Lina Wertmüller (1974) was set on the Rocce Rosse beach.
