Five coves of white and soft sand overlooking the emerald sea, nestled in a park of unspoiled nature: an unrivaled oasis in the northern part of the Gulf of Orosei, on the east coast of Sardinia... #tuttitaly
Bidderosa is the pearl of Orosei, from which it is 13 km to the north. Traffic by car and motorbike to visit the Oasis is limited from May to the end of October. We got there on foot, starting from the neighboring Berchida Beach.
The wonderful Bidderosa Oasis is characterized by five white and soft sand coves and is kept in a park of 860 hectares, mostly woods, and Mediterranean scrub.
This place makes you feel like you are out of this world.
All the coves are about 1 km long and are characterized by very thin white sand, sea lilies, and outcropping granite rocks. This splendid, silent landscape is perfumed by thick vegetation and bathed by a crystalline sea with a shallow seabed.
The Oasis is populated by sedentary and migratory birds, which can be observed from birdwatching stations.
With great amazement, we could observe the Corsican gull, the peregrine falcon, the shrike, the pink flamingo, and the partridge. For the rest of the time, we walked on the fine white sand and admired the enchanting landscape and nature in its wildest and most pristine condition. A truly unforgettable experience!
