Lido delle Nazioni is a seaside resort in the Municipality of Comacchio, Ferrara province.
Near the lido lies the artificial basin called Lago delle Nazioni, the sporting soul of the coast. Sailing, canoeing, and kayaking are practiced in the National Nautical Center of the same name.
Furthermore, the basin is a destination for windsurfers.
Eels and mullets live in the salty basin. The vegetation
consists of rushes, marsh reeds, and medicinal plants, while little grebes and kingfishers characterize the fauna.
Curiosity: At the Lido delle Nazioni, you can visit Garibaldi's hut, where the hero of the two worlds landed as a fugitive with Anita.
Not to be missed: The Valle Bertuzzi extends beyond the
Acciaioli scenic road. Visible from the road - it fascinates the expanses of pink flamingos and the panorama it offers at sunset.
