Edolo and Sonico are two beautiful villages immersed in the greenery of Val Camonica in Lombardy.
Edolo is considered the "capital" of Val Camonica and the gateway to the Upper Valley, where various outdoor sports can be practiced.
During winter, skiing is possible in the Pontedilegno Tonale ski area, while during summer, hiking can be done in the Adamello Group and the Stelvio National Park.
Sonico, on the other hand, is a starting point for various hiking and mountaineering itineraries in the middle of Val Camonica, on the western side of the Adamello Group, and on the Brescian and Bergamasque Orobie. Here, you can find the Plurithematic Path of "Coren delle Fate," a trail that winds through forests and meadows, offering visitors the opportunity to immerse themselves in the unspoiled nature of Val Camonica. You can admire artistic installations that make the experience even more evocative along the path.
Both villages also offer other tourist attractions, such as medieval churches and museums that tell the area's history. Furthermore, thanks to their geographical location, Edolo and Sonico are ideal starting points for mountain excursions, with numerous trails winding through the valleys and peaks of the Orobie Alps.
