Church of Santa Felicita

In addition to its history, Casola in Lunigiana also offers exciting tourist attractions. Among these, the Church of Santa Felicita is one of the main ones. It is a church of medieval origin, the first mention of which dates back to 1296-97. The church had a Romanesque wall facing with squared sandstone blocks on the left side.

On the corner head of that same wall is a stone bearing the date of 1408 or 1468, corresponding to a period of general renovation. Subsequently, in the eighteenth century, the church was transformed into a Baroque style both outside and inside.


You can admire polychrome marble altars of incredible beauty and a baptismal font inside the church. Next to the baptismal font, there is a marble drain for holy water.

Behind the main altar, there is a painting depicting San Pellegrino.
