Bosa (OR) - One of the most beautiful villages in Italy - Sardinia

Those who come to Sardinia should know that in addition to the beaches and the social life of the Coasts, there are many magnificent places rich in history and culture that you must visit. One of these is Bosa.

We always stay on the splendid Sardinian island north of the province of Oristano.

We reached Bosa along the famous panoramic road from Alghero to Bosa. This magical road has nothing to envy of the famous American or New Zealand avenues regarding landscape and suggestions. 45 km of road runs along the sea, giving authentic postcard views to those who travel by car, motorbike, bus, or bicycle.

Bosa is a small village of ancient origins crossed by the Temo River (the only navigable river in Sardinia).

The village is characteristic of the typical colored houses in pastel tones, the wrought iron balconies, and the narrow alleys of the historic center that give it a magical atmosphere, giving it the assignment to the list of the most beautiful villages in Italy.

Suggestive to walk around its center, where perfumes and history meet at every alley.

Bosa is renowned for the quality of the oil and the wines, particularly the Malvasia (DOC brand).

You will also find many shops specializing in processing coral, gold filigree, and lace.

Do not miss the magnificent Castle of the Malaspina, dating back to the twelfth century, and it can be reached with a scenic walk that dominates the valley from above.

You will admire the beautiful landscape of the whole town, always kissed by the sun, which extends to the nearby sea.
