A peaceful town on the outskirts of Turin that strives to promote the historical, artistic, cultural, naturalistic, and gastronomic heritage of the region, aimed at tourism as a means of discovering this small reality... #tuttitaly
Villastellone is located in Piedmont, a few kilometers from Turin. The village's origins are very ancient; they probably date back to the 13th century.
The town lies in a flat area south of the Turin hills, located on two different plateaus:
the first, south of the town, is marshy because it is an integral part of the flood bed of the Po; the second, to the north, raised by a few meters, is made up of sandy soils.
The economy of Villastellone is linked to agriculture and breeding.
In addition to the characteristic historic center and the naturalistic beauties to be discovered with a pleasant walk in unspoiled nature, in Villastellone, we can admire the Parish Church, built in the 18th century in Baroque style, and the Castle, built in the 18th century to a design by Filippo Juvara.
