Tredozio (FC) - Emilia Romagna

The municipality of Tredozio is part of the Casentinesi Forests, Monte Falterona, and Campigna National Park.

A pleasant summer resort, the village retains some palaces of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries.

To be seen

Palazzo Fantini the most prestigious palace in the Tredozia area. Built before 1500, it was reborn in 1750 thanks to Lorenzo Maria Fantini. The complex overlooks two courtyards that lead into a splendid Italian garden.

The Pieve di San Michele (12th century) was initially built on a single nave. Only in 1795 were the two aisles added.

The Church of the Company and Oratory of the Blessed Virgin of Grace, built in the fourteenth century, preserves the image of the Blessed Virgin of Grace.

In the surroundings of Tredozio, there is the Volcano of Monte Busca, defined as the smallest volcano in Italy and the World.

Manifestations

On Easter day, the Sagra and Palio dell'Uovo takes place - a traditional celebration born from the ancient custom of beating hard-boiled eggs.
