Easily reachable with a modern gondola that starts from S. Cristina, Col Raiser offers us one of the most beautiful views in the world. It shows us a splendid view of the Odle Group and other Dolomite peaks, from Sella to Sassolungo and Sasso Piatto, an absolute dream!
You can take path four from the Col Raiser cable car (2100 a.s.l.) towards Rifugio Firenze, crossing meadows and woods. From here, path 1 leads to the summit of Seceda.
A steep climb will take you to Lake Iman, a small alpine lake in an alpine landscape.
Then passing through the Troier Refuge on the Alpe del Seceda, continuing slightly uphill, you will arrive at the Seceda chairlift at 2500 m.
Upon arrival at the top, the panoramic view of Val Gardena will win your heart. You will see Ortisei and the Alpe Rasciesa, the Alpe di Siusi, the Sassolungo and the Sasso Piatto, the Sella, the Odle, and Puez Group, and also the Val di Funes with the Odle di Eores and the Sass de Putia.
Positioning yourself in the center of the viewpoint, you will find the names of the surrounding peaks on a circle-shaped viewing table.
On the way back to the mountain station of the Col Raiser cable car, you can take paths 1A, 2, and 4A. The perfect opportunity to admire the splendid panorama of the Dolomites, a World Heritage Site, again.
