Raggiolo is another jewel of Tuscany.

This village, all structured in stone, offers us some cobbled, rough, and challenging roads. Walking, we find bridges, springs, mills, wash houses, some chestnut squeegees left among the many of the past, and homes.

These all seem the same for the essentiality of the design but are arranged on different levels and with different perspectives to accommodate the slope of the mountain.

Here, too, order reigns. It is a postcard village embraced by the green of breathtaking views.

The walk through the houses takes us into a forest crossed by a long stream of water, whose pleasant sound calms the mind.

And this feeling almost invites you to respect the harmonious character of the place. It makes you want to spend an entire afternoon in contact with nature, meditating.

Although darkness prevails in the forest, this is broken by the light of the sun's rays that make their way between the tallest leaves of the trees. A place that I can define DIVINE, and where I would spend almost all my Sundays if only I lived nearby 😉
