Predazzo (TN) - Val di Fiemme - Dolomites - UNESCO World Heritage - Trentino-Alto Adige

Predazzo is the most populous center of Val di Fiemme in Trentino, boasting the highest concentration of geological varieties worldwide.


In 1899, the Geological Museum of the Dolomites was established, where rocks, minerals, and fossils tell us stories and events of the Dolomites.


In the town, via Fiamme Gialle, there is the Alpine School of the Guardia di Finanza, founded in 1920.

The institute is the oldest military Alpine school in the world. In addition to the financier students, specialized soldiers of the yellow flames are also trained there in Alpine Rescue.

From the town, following the Valmaggiore, you reach the "Bosco che suona," the symbol of Predazzo. You will find a number on each tree:

Winter and summer

In winter, downhill skiing and cross-country skiing can be practiced in Predazzo. The ski areas with direct access are those of the Ski Center Latemar and Bellamonte - Alpe Lusia.

In summer, Predazzo is the starting point for paths in Paneveggio Park.

For over a century, in Predazzo, pasta has been produced using the clear spring waters and the pure air of the Dolomites.
