Pedaso (FM) - Marche

Pedaso is a small town overlooking the Adriatic Sea in the lush Aso Valley in the province of Fermo.

The sand and pebble beach, over 2 km long, is accessible by underpasses dedicated to well-known Italian songwriters (Rino Gaetano, Giorgio Gaber, Luigi Tenco, Domenico Modugno, and others).

The transparent water, rich in marine flora and fauna, is suitable for diving and underwater fishing.

The lighthouse, the symbol of Pedaso, rises from the coast

on Monte Serrone between brooms and natural vegetation.

The Municipal Astronomical Observatory also stands on Monte Serrone, consisting of a dome with a diameter of 2 m, three sundials, and numerous astronomical photos.

In the heart of Pedaso, in Piazza Roma, we can visit the neo-Gothic church of Santa Maria and San Pietro Apostolo, patron saints of the city.

The recently built building, in the shape of a Latin cross with three naves with an ogival arch, is embellished with high polychrome windows depicting scenes from the life of Jesus and Saint Francis.

Mussel festival

From 12 to 15 August, the Mussel Festival animates the city with tasty fish dishes, music, and entertainment.
