Gorino Veneto is a small fraction of the municipality of Ariano Nel Polesine in the province of Rovigo.
Gorino Veneto borders to the east with the locality Ca 'Lattis; to the west, it is bounded by the course of a branch of the great river Po that separates it from the locality of Gorino in Emilia-Romagna; to the north, it borders with the locality of Goro Veneto, and to the south with Bacucco (an almost uninhabited locality).
Like all the surrounding areas, this hamlet also suffered from depopulation in the 1950s and 1960s towards industrial regions of Northern Italy. This situation was also caused by the numerous floods that hit the area.
Among the area's most suggestive things to admire is the pontoon bridge, built in 1979, which connects Gorino Veneto with Gorino Ferrarese.
In addition, the War Memorial and the former parish church of San Rocco Confessor are also noteworthy.
