Corinaldo (AN) - Sanctuary Santa Maria Goretti - One of the most beautiful villages in Italy-Marche

One of the fascinating villages in the Marche is Corinaldo. The beauty of this place is almost surreal. Inside the walls, we found a scenographic place, where the medieval style is adorned by the 1000 colors of the flowers on the terraces of the various houses and more. We seem to be in a fairy tale. At every corner, we found enchanting places that attracted our attention and our desire to immortalize their existence.

It is possible to perceive the importance that the inhabitants of Corinaldo give to the care of this place.

But this is the surprise I found when looking for the well-known "Pozzo della Polenta." Knowing that it was on a staircase that numbered 100 stairs, I spent most of my time looking for Via Piaggia. There is a long staircase in the middle of the famous well. The satisfaction when I found this place was excellent.

Legend has it that a farmer brought the king a sack of Turkish wheat. Tired, he stopped near the well, on the edge of which he placed the backpack. This ended up in it, and the farmer, in an attempt to recover it, also ended up in the well. Since then, it has been rumored that he had thrown himself in to eat polenta. Hence the name.

The landscape you find in the street of Piaggia is indescribable. The stairs exhibit different shades, and on both sides, the staircase is embellished with green plants and beautifully colored flowers. I would choose this place if I ever wanted to do a photo shoot.
