Bucci Park - Faenza (RA) - Emilia Romagna

Parco Bucci is a splendid oasis, a green spot immersed in the city of Faenza. Artificial, of course, but with such a serene climate, it must be experienced with calm and relaxation.

Parco Bucci is also the ideal place to spend a day full of fun with children, who can see many animals moving freely up close: bunnies, squirrels, hedgehogs, geese, peacocks, roosters, and hens, along with other breeds of birds.

Together with our baby, we enjoyed looking for them in the trees and paths of the park.

There's even an area with a nice playground where you can swing, slide, and experiment with sounds and balance.

You can take walks admiring the lakes, streams, and hills scattered throughout this green lung that extends over 8 hectares.

Parco Bucci stands on what was once the parade ground,

used until the early twentieth century for military exercises and later, until the 1960s, for grazing horses. It was built in the early 1970s by the Municipality of Faenza with the precious collaboration of Roberto Bucci, an industrialist from Faenza to whom the park is dedicated.

The park is open daily from 7.30 am to 9 pm from April to October and closes at 5.30 pm in winter.
