In the heart of the Dolomites, at 1602 m, stands Arabba, one of the most characteristic towns of the Alps, a stone's throw from the Sellaronda Circuit.
What to visit
The town's symbol is the Old Mill, which is still functioning and can be visited today.
The town revolves around the mountain symbol of the Great War, Col di Lana, where you can see emplacements, lines of trenches, and various artifacts that belonged to the Italian and Austrian soldiers who clashed here.
Activity
In winter, you'll find many slopes for all levels. Furthermore, at the foot of Monte Burz, there is a school camp for children.
In summer, surrounded by greenery, the town invites you to take walks amid nature or more demanding excursions that lead to the most suggestive peaks.
Local products
About 2 km from Arabba is the Livinallongo dairy, where you can taste the cheeses from the local pastures, fresh or smoked ricotta, and blue cheeses.
