The Amalfi Coast offers 360-degree panoramas and can be visited on foot on the mainland or by boat to enjoy the scenery with a reverse view and thus admire the coast from the sea.
The boat trips allow you to avoid the crowds and immerse yourself in the unique landscape beauties and the intense colors of the sea and the cliff.
You can swim in lagoons and bays or admire caves and caverns accessible only by sea:
the Emerald Grotto, which takes its name from its colors, the Grotta del Diavolo in Praiano, the Fiordo di Furore, which leads to a hidden beach where some fishing boats are hosted; the Marmorata waterfall that flows into the sea; the Cave of Pandora and the archipelago of the Li Galli islands where it is said that Ulysses met the Sirens.
You can also admire Punta Campanella, which preserves the temple remains dedicated to the goddess Minerva.
To enjoy a view of the mainland, you can admire the coastal towns such as Atrani, Positano, Nerano, or Ravello. These overlook the sea.
Overhanging the sea, Sorrento also appears. The town is full of narrow streets, gardens, and artistic crafts and is famous for the Cloisters of San Giuseppe.
The coastal road between Salerno's port city and Sorrento's rocky ridge winds through sumptuous villas, terraced vineyards, and lemon groves overlooking the sea.
