Olympic Theater - UNESCO heritage - Vicenza (VI) - Veneto

The Teatro Olimpico, located in Vicenza, is considered one of the most impressive works of architect Andrea Palladio. Built between 1580 and 1585, it is the oldest masonry-covered theater in the world. Its lavish interiors are made with humble wood, stucco, and plaster, yet the scenic effect is extraordinary.

The Teatro Olimpico is open to the public and is located at Piazza Matteotti No. 11.

Vicenza is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List thanks to the numerous architectural masterpieces by Palladio found in the historic center. This theater, with approximately 400 seats, hosts prose and music events, such as the "Settimane Musicali al Teatro Olimpico" (Musical Weeks at the Teatro Olimpico), the "Vicenza Jazz" and "Omaggio a Palladio, András Schiff e suoi Amici" (Homage to Palladio, András Schiff, and his Friends) festivals, and the cycle of "Spettacoli classici" (Classical Performances).

Furthermore, the Teatro Olimpico is available to be rented for private events. This opportunity offers a unique chance to experience an unforgettable event in a place of great historical and artistic value.
